Connect with EASI Lab

Bring your questions.
Let’s work together.

We welcome prospective graduate students and interns, as well as collaboration proposals from researchers, clinicians, engineers and industry partners. An early-stage idea is a good place to start.

Questions worth pursuing

What question would you like to investigate?

A paper that caught your attention or an unanswered question is a good place to start. Share your interests and background so we can discuss research fit and potential opportunities.

Before you reach out

A few useful details

Can I propose an early-stage collaboration?

Yes. A brief research question and an introduction to your expertise are enough to begin. We welcome basic and clinical researchers, engineers, data scientists and industry partners.

Are there confirmed openings?

This page invites expressions of interest. Available places, supervision capacity and start dates are confirmed through individual discussion.

What financial support is available?

Funding and support depend on the degree route, role and research funding. Please discuss the applicable arrangements in your initial conversation.

Does contacting the lab count as a degree application?

No. An inquiry to the lab is separate from formal graduate admissions. Applicants must follow Seoul National University’s official requirements and procedures for their intended program.

Can I inquire from a non-medical background?

Tell us about a relevant background in life sciences, neuroscience, immunology, engineering, data analysis or another field. Research fit and possible participation are discussed individually.
